Joop’s professional career started in 1968 and has developed until 2000 within the ICT industry. He has successfully handled responsibilities from sales manager upto managing director within several major international companies within the IT industry, specializing in the field of data storage, security and disaster recovery. Since 2000, he is working as a Management Consultant with several major ICT organisations in Netherland.

In his own words “In the period from 1995 until 2000 I developed a business network within Asia. At that time I witnessed the enormous differences in culture, welfare and people care between Europe and countries like China, India, Korea en Vietnam. Things like education, healthcare and support for the elderly that we see as normal in our world hardly does exist, but need to be developed”.
