PRAY has been involved in providing aid and support to individuals on case to case basis for quite some time now. This project is a result of several brain storming sessions to consolidate various activities and provide a platform for growth in a consistent manner. This is a conscious decision by the Foundation to put its feet firmly on the ground and operate at the ground level to ensure that aid and support reach the right and deserving individuals.
The 2nd big question was where to set up the first project. PRAY Foundation Trustees initiated discussions at formal and informal level with various individuals and organisations. Based on many factors including support and familiarity with the local region, need analysis etc; an almost unanimous decision was to initiate the experiment in a province in North India.
PRAY constituted a project team of volunteers to help them to draw up a project plan, financial analysis, and feasibility study. The Team comprises of experts with many years of experience in , setting up and managing institutions, civil engineering and design experts, business management, medical faculty to name a few.
